# How do I hear about new bookings?

So that you don't miss a request, NFCeez tells you about new booking requests in several ways. Requests exist when **Confirm requests yourself** is switched on in the [booking rules](buchungsregeln).

## Live Activity on the Lock Screen
Each new request appears as a Live Activity on the Lock Screen and in the Dynamic Island: "New request" with the name, time and number of people.
1. Tap **Confirm**. Unlock with Face ID or your passcode. The Live Activity shows "Confirmed", and the guest gets an email.
2. Or tap **Details**. The app opens [[Guests › Bookings]], where you can also decline.

If the Live Activity is out of date, it only shows "Answer in the app". Tap it and answer in the app. When you answer in the app, the Live Activity disappears.

## Email and app
- The owner gets an email for every new request, with the number of people, occasion and note.
- In the app, requests are in [[Guests › Bookings]] under "Waiting for you" and on [[Home]] under "Up next".

## What guests get
- An email when you confirm.
- An email when you decline, cancel, or a request expires.

## Requirements
- Notifications and the Live Activity go to the iPhones where the **owner** is signed in. Other team members see requests in the app.
- The app asks once for permission to send notifications. If you declined, allow notifications and Live Activities for NFCeez Business in iPhone Settings.
- If you sign out on an iPhone, it no longer gets notifications or Live Activities.

## Common questions
**An instantly confirmed booking didn't start a Live Activity.** That's right. The Live Activity is only for requests waiting for your answer. You'll find instantly confirmed bookings in [[Guests › Bookings]].

**Why does "Confirm" ask for Face ID?** Anyone can see your Lock Screen. That's why you only confirm when unlocked.
