# Create an account

Your account is your way into your business in NFCeez. You create it once and then set up your business.

## Start with email
1. Open NFCeez Business and tap **Start with email**.
2. Enter your **First name** and tap **Continue**. Your **Last name** comes next.
3. Enter your **Email**. You'll sign in with this address later.
4. Choose a **Password** and tap **Create account**. The list under the field shows what's still missing:
   - At least 6 characters
   - One uppercase letter
   - One lowercase letter
   - One special character, e.g. ! or &
5. Check your inbox and enter the 6-digit code. Tap **Confirm email**. The [setup of your business](unternehmen-einrichten) starts next.

> **Tip:** No code? Check your spam folder. After 60 seconds you can tap **Resend code**.

## Start with Apple
1. Tap **Continue with Apple**.
2. Confirm with Face ID or your Apple password. Setup starts next.

By continuing, you accept the Terms of Use and the Privacy Policy. Both open right inside the app.

## If something goes wrong
- "You already have an account with …. Just sign in.": this email already has an account. Sign-in opens by itself.
- "The code is invalid or expired. Check it or request a new one.": request a new code with **Resend code**.
- "Too many attempts. Wait a moment, then try again.": wait a little and try again.
- "The confirmation email couldn't be sent yet. Try again later or use Apple.": try again later or start with Apple.

## Common questions
**I already have an account. Where do I sign in?** Tap **Sign in** at the top right and enter your email and password.

**I forgot my password.** Tap **Forgot password?** when signing in. More under [Personal details and password](persoenliche-daten-und-passwort).

**Can I change my email later?** Not in the app. So choose an address you'll keep using.
