# The smart menu for your guests

Your menu helps guests choose. It suggests what goes together, explains what's unfamiliar and answers questions.

> **Important:** This isn't ordering. Guests put a list together and show it to your staff. Ordering and paying work as usual at your place. NFCeez takes no payments and isn't connected to your till.

## Prepare for guests
1. Open [[Menu › Tools › Prepare for guests]].
2. Tap **Create suggestions**. The AI suggests what goes well with each dish and explains dishes visitors may not know. This usually takes less than a minute.
3. Tap **Accept all** or **Review one by one**. Guests only see suggestions once you accept and publish them.

In the dish you can change both by hand, under **Goes well with** (up to three) and **Explained for guests**. Preparing is free and doesn't use up an import.

## What guests see
- "Goes well with", right under the dish.
- "What is it?" with your short explanation, in their language.
- Choices for dips, flavours and sizes, so your staff don't have to ask.
- "Add to list" and "My list": the list stays on this page only. "Show the waiter" shows it large and in your language, with a table number if the guest wants.
- "Ask the menu": an AI answers only from your menu and suggests matching dishes. For allergies it points to the staff.

## What you see of it
Under [[Home › Reach]], "Your menu" shows what guests open and search for, how often "Goes well with" was tapped and how often lists were shown to the waiter. You can't identify individual guests.

## Common questions
**Do we have to turn this on?** The list and "Ask the menu" are there with your published menu.

**Is the order sent to the kitchen?** No. The list stays with the guest until they show it.

**Are lists saved?** No. The list only stays on the page in the guest's browser.
