# Change branch name and address

Your Smart Page shows your business name and the name of the location. Together they also make up your page address, for example `nfceez.de/cafesonne-aplerbeck`.

## Change the branch name
1. Open [[Smart Page › Edit page › Appearance]].
2. Under "Name", tap **Branch name**.
3. Type the new name and tap **Save**.
4. The app shows "Rename branch?" with the expected new page address. Tap **Save**. Name and address change at once.

Old links redirect to the new address automatically, so your NFC stickers and printed QR codes keep working.

## Rules
- You can change the branch name once every 30 days. Until then, the app shows a lock and "Next change available on …" with the date.
- The page address is generated from the business and branch names: in lower case, with German umlauts written as ae, oe, ue and ß as ss. If the address is already taken, the system adds a number.
- You can't change the business name. It applies to all your locations.

## Change the address
1. Open [[Smart Page › Edit page › Quick actions]].
2. Tap the **Address** field and enter street, house number, postcode and town. The app suggests matching addresses from Apple Maps.
3. Pick a suggestion or finish typing the address. It saves automatically.

Use the switch next to **Address** to hide it on your page; it stays saved.

> **Important:** Your location's address, phone and email are the same as in your legal notice under [[Account › Company details]]. If you change them here, they change there too. See [Company details and legal notice](unternehmensangaben-und-impressum).

## Common questions
**I see "The branch name can only be changed once every 30 days."** You already changed the name in the last 30 days. Wait until the date shown.

**I see "This page address is already taken."** Choose a slightly different branch name.
