# What can each role do?

Everyone on your team has exactly one role. It decides what the person can see and change in NFCeez Business. You'll also find the overview in the app under [[Account › Team & roles]], in "What each role can do".

## The four roles
- **Owner:** the person the account belongs to. Only the owner chooses and changes the plan, invites and removes people, changes roles, creates locations, connects NFC products and starts the business verification.
- **Manager:** "Everything except plan and team". Managers can, for example, change the company details, publish the stamp card and the menu, mark dishes as sold out, and delete or restore locations.
- **Editor:** "Smart Page, menu, bookings and loyalty". Editors look after the Smart Page, edit the menu, answer bookings and stamp guests. They don't publish the menu or the stamp card.
- **Read-only access:** "View only". This person sees everything but changes nothing, and can't send messages in the chat with NFCeez.

> **Important:** Owners and managers always open the app with Face ID. For editors and read-only users Face ID is optional. More in [Face ID and app lock](face-id-und-app-sperre).

## Change a role
Only the owner can change roles.
1. Open [[Account › Team & roles]].
2. Tap the person. A menu "…'s role" opens.
3. Choose **Manager**, **Editor** or **Read-only access**. The current role has a checkmark.
4. Confirm with Face ID. The new role appears next to the name right away.

## Common questions
**Can I make someone the owner?** No. In the app you only give the roles Manager, Editor and Read-only access. Changing the owner isn't possible.

**Where do I invite new people?** See [Invite team members](teammitglieder-einladen).

**Can my team see the plan?** Yes, everyone sees the plan under [[Account › Your plan]]. Only the owner can buy or change it.
