Why does the app ask for our age?

A business account is for people aged 18 and over, so the app asks once for your birth month and year before setup.

A business account is a contract, so only adults can open one. The app asks once, right after the account is created and before setup.

How it works

  1. Under "When were you born?" the person opening the account picks Month and Year. Nothing is preselected.
  2. Tap Continue.
  3. Under "Is this right?" tap Confirm. This can't be changed later.

Setting up your business then continues.

Under 18

Anyone under 18 sees "NFCeez Business is for ages 18 and over." and can't open an account. That page only offers Sign out and Delete account.

If you entered the wrong date, write to support@nfceez.de.

Common questions

Why only month and year? That's all it takes to check the age. The day isn't asked for.

Do guests or the team see this? It doesn't appear anywhere on your Smart Page. How NFCeez stores it is in the Privacy Policy.

Do team members have to enter it too? The question is part of setting up a business. People you invite don't set up a business and start by choosing an avatar instead.
