Check and approve your dishes
Before your menu goes online, you check names, prices and allergens. The bar at the bottom takes you from one check to the next.
After the import, your menu is a private draft. You check it right in the view that looks the way your guests will see it. You can only publish once nothing is left open.
Work through the open checks
- Open Smart Page›Edit page›Menu.
- Look at the bar at the bottom. If it says "3 checks left", tap Review. The next dish that still needs something opens.
- Add what's missing and tap Done.
- Repeat until the bar shows "Ready for your guests."
In the list, dishes with open checks are marked Check allergens or Price missing.
What blocks publishing
- a dish without a name, or a missing price (sizes and extras included)
- a dish with no allergen decision
- conflicting details, for example "Vegan" together with milk or eggs
- categories or menus without a name
- no visible dishes at all
Hidden dishes don't count. How to declare allergens is explained in Allergens and labels.
Accept AI suggestions
AI suggestions have a dashed outline. Tap one and choose Confirm or Remove suggestion. On a dish's "Food information" page you can take a whole "AI suggestion" with Accept, or go through it point by point with Review each.
Unconfirmed AI suggestions remain private. Guests don't see them, not even after you publish.
Common questions
Do I have to add descriptions and ingredients? No. The law requires allergen information for every dish and prices. Descriptions and ingredients are optional.
Can an Editor publish? No. Editors can check and change the menu. Only Owners and Managers can publish.
