Import your menu with AI
Photograph your menu or upload a PDF. The AI turns it into a private draft that you check before you publish.
You don't have to type out your menu. The AI reads your photos or PDF and creates dishes, prices and categories as a draft. Guests see nothing until you publish.
Start an import
- Open Smart Page›Edit page›Menu. If you don't have a menu yet, the import starts by itself.
- If you already have one, tap + at the top, then Add menu.
- Tap Photograph your menu or Choose a photo or PDF.
- Under "Is everything here?" put the pages in your menu's order. If something is missing, tap Add more pages. Then tap Continue.
- Under "All set." check Import into (a new menu, or an existing one that gets replaced in your draft), Allowance from and Imports left.
- Tap Create my draft. The AI reads every page. You can leave the screen; the work carries on.
- When "Your menu is ready." appears, tap View menu. Now check your dishes.
You can also start without a file: tap Build it without a file and add the dishes yourself.
Limits
- At most 20 pages and 30 MB in total. A PDF must not be password protected.
- Each location has 2 imports per billing period. No more than 3 imports are possible within 24 hours.
- There is also a monthly AI allowance for your account. Only one import runs at a time.
- A failed import is not counted.
- Your original files are private and are removed after 30 days. You find them under Tools › Originals.
- The AI feature uses OpenAI ("With OpenAI").
