Nothing on your menu is public until you publish it. After that, guests see exactly this version on your Smart Page.

Publish

  1. Open Smart PageEdit pageMenu.
  2. When the bar at the bottom shows "Ready for your guests.", tap Publish. If checks are still left, check your dishes first.
  3. The "Preview menu" screen shows the menu as guests see it. Tap Publish to Smart Page.
  4. The "Publish for all branches?" window shows how many dishes were added, changed or removed. Tap Publish for 2 branches (the number matches your locations).
  5. "Menu published" appears. Tap View on Smart Page to open your page.

The bar then shows "Published" and "Guests see exactly this version." Later changes stay in the draft until you publish again.

Rules

  • Only Owners and Managers can publish. Editors can prepare everything.
  • You need a paid plan. Otherwise you see "A qualifying active plan is needed to publish menus." Your saved menus are kept.
  • All locations on your account share one menu. Publishing replaces it everywhere.
  • Unconfirmed AI suggestions remain private.

Take it offline

Tap the tools button at the bottom right, then Take offline. Confirm with Unpublish menus everywhere. Your draft is kept.

Languages

Guests see your menu in their own language automatically. You can adjust a language yourself:

  1. Tap the tools button, then Languages.
  2. Tap a language. It shows "Needs review" or "Reviewed".
  3. Change the texts and compare them with the original.
  4. Tap Confirm translation reviewed. The language is included the next time you publish.

Use Add language manually to add another language. Languages you added but haven't reviewed are not published. The preview lists them under "Not included in this publication:".

Common questions

I don't see a publish button. Your role is Editor or Read-only access. Ask an Owner or Manager.

Do I have to publish again after "Sold out"? No. Sold out takes effect at once.
