Notifications and push messages
Bookings, account updates and holiday questions land in your notifications and as a push on your iPhone.
Your notifications collect everything that needs your attention, for example new booking requests, updates about your account or the question whether you're open on a public holiday.
Open your notifications
- Tap the bell at the top right. It's there in every area of the app.
- At the top, choose All or Unread. Notifications are sorted into Today, Yesterday and Earlier. Unread ones have a green dot.
- Tap a notification to open it. View details takes you to the right place in the app; for holidays it's Answer now.
Mark as read
- Swipe a notification to the right and tap Read.
- Or press and hold it and choose Mark as read.
- Mark all as read marks everything at once.
Push messages
The first time you open the app after setup, your iPhone asks whether NFCeez may send you notifications. If you allow it, every notification also arrives as a push. Tapping it opens it in the app. New booking requests also appear as a Live Activity, see Bookings: notifications and Live Activity.
Push messages go to the owner's iPhones. When you sign out, that iPhone no longer gets pushes for your account.
Turn off push
There's no switch for this in the app. Open iOS Settings, tap "Notifications", then "NFCeez Business", and turn them off. The notifications in the app stay.
Common questions
I don't get push messages. Check in iOS Settings under "Notifications" that NFCeez Business is allowed, and that you're signed in with the owner account.
It says "All quiet here for now." There are no notifications right now. New ones appear by themselves.
