Agreement and terms of participation
Before you start, the owner concludes the data processing agreement once. The terms of participation for guests are created automatically.
Your stamp card stores your guests' data, such as name, email and stamps. Two documents cover this: the data processing agreement between you and NFCeez, and the terms of participation for your guests.
Data processing agreement
With this agreement (under Art. 28 GDPR), NFCeez processes your guests' data only on your behalf. You conclude it once for your account. Only the owner can do this.
When starting the first campaign: In the last step, tick "I conclude the data processing agreement." Tap Read to open the agreement. Only then can you tap Start campaign.
On the loyalty page: If the agreement isn't concluded yet, Guests›Loyalty shows the "Your guests' data" card.
- Tap Read the agreement to read it.
- Tap Conclude agreement.
- Confirm with Conclude. The card disappears.
Terms of participation for guests
When they sign up, your guests accept your card's terms of participation. You don't have to write them yourself: they are created automatically from your running campaign and your business details. Open them under Guests›Loyalty›Terms.
Among other things, the terms state:
- your business as the provider of the campaign, and NFCeez as the technical service provider,
- the reward, number of stamps and duration,
- that taking part is from age 16, free and voluntary,
- that rewards stay redeemable for 30 days after a campaign ends, and an earlier end needs 30 days' notice,
- how guests delete their card, and the privacy notice.
So that your name and address appear correctly, keep your business details up to date.
